Meetings

The Tulsa City Council meets at 6:00 p.m. each Thursday, except for some holidays, in the City Council Meeting Room located in the One Technology Center in downtown Tulsa . Council meetings are open to the public, and citizens are encouraged to attend. Items that are scheduled to be discussed at the meetings are posted with the City Clerk at least 48 hours in advance. Agendas for all Council meetings can also be obtained by visiting the Council Office, calling 596-1990, or by visiting the Council website. All City Council meetings are televised live on Tuesdays and Thursdays (with the exception of the 5 p.m. premeeting on Thursdays) on TGOV - Tulsa Government Access Television, on Cox Communications channel 24. These meetings are then broadcasted again throughout the week. Check program guides for listings.

At various times throughout the year, City Councilors hold special district meetings in order to get to know the residents of their district even better. These are usually held in neighborhoods, and it's a good chance for everyone to discuss ideas on how to improve their community. For more information on the next district meeting, contact the City Council Office at 596-1990.
