Homeless Outreach Workers Recognition Day

Tulsa City Councilors honored homeless outreach workers in a surprise ceremony on March 1 for their work on the frontlines to ensure 400+ unsheltered Tulsans were placed in hotels during the recent historic snowstorm.

The tireless efforts of these homeless outreach workers undoubtedly saved lives. The honorees come from three local nonprofits: City Lights, Housing Solutions and Mental Health Association of Oklahoma.
