An Illinois native, Mautino came to Tulsa in 1956 to work for American Airlines. He retired from the company in 1995 after 39 years of service. Prior to coming to Tulsa, Jim Mautino served in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as an electrical mechanic during the Korean conflict.
The Mautinos have owned their east Tulsa home for more than 47 years. He and his wife Bonnie have been married 50 years and have five children. They have also been blessed with 9 grandchildren that they dearly love.
James is a committed conservative that believes Tulsa can run more efficiently with the correct leadership.
