Charter Changes Approved
ARCHIVED PRESS RELEASE: Published 7-20-2010
Voters approved two charter changes on Tuesday,
November 2, 2010. The first proposition created a "rainy day
fund' that requires the City of Tulsa to deposit money in a
fund during good economic times to help out during bad
economic times. It helps to lessen the sharp curves as shown
in the graph below:

The second proposition aligns city elections with county
elections.
