ShopTulsa Unveiled

Today Mayor Dewey F. Bartlett and the Tulsa City Councilors
will unveil the new ShopTulsa website and brand. This initial phase
of ShopTulsa introduces the public to the campaign via http://www.shoptulsa.org and
educates the community about the importance and benefits of
shopping locally. The website also includes information about
municipal finance and sales tax. No public funds were used in
the creation of ShopTulsa, ShopTulsa materials, or the development
of the ShopTulsa.org website.
A press conference will be held April 22, 2010 at 4 p.m. on the
fourth floor of City Hall. Mayor Bartlett and Councilors
Christiansen and Barnes will give short remarks and the press will
have an opportunity to ask them about ShopTulsa. ShopTulsa
will also be introduced to the public at today's City Council
meeting, which will be held at 6 p.m. on the second floor of City
Hall.
