ELIGIBILITY:

  1. Members shall be legal residents of the Council District for which they are appointed, or if at large (Mayor's appointment), legal residents of the City.

  2. Candidates for appointment must be enrolled in school or actively home- schooled, and have a demonstrated interest in local community issues and government. They must be enrolled in high school, from freshmen through senior.

  3. To be considered for appointment, members shall fill out an application and provide a current resume to their District Councilor or Council staff member.

  4. Candidates for appointment shall be interviewed by their District Councilor, or by a Council staff member, at the request of the Councilor.

  5. Members shall not hold public office nor be candidates for public office.

  6. For each term, all members shall be appointed by November 1.
