The City of Tulsa green waste collection crews have resumed curbside collection of residential green waste as scheduled.
Tulsa Authority for the Recovery of Energy (TARE) board members unanimously voted on Aug. 27 to waive the requirement for residents to apply greenwaste stickers to their curbside greenwaste until Jan. 31, 2014.
Greenwaste that is clear bagged and bundled without a sticker will be picked up at the curbside on regularly scheduled service days. Greenwaste should be placed at the curb by 6 a.m. on customers' primary collection day.
As TARE members continue to evaluate the curbside greenwaste program and collection options, residents should keep their greenwaste stickers, which could be used at a later date.
