Tulsa Municipal Court Judge Application

Full-Time Tulsa Municipal Court Judge: The Tulsa City Council is seeking applicants for one, full-time municipal court judge’s position. Term: July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2023; continuing service subject to biennial reappointment. Annual salary: $120,000.

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Oklahoma.
  • Must be a resident and a registered voter in the City of Tulsa at the time of assuming office.
  • Must have been a registered voter and actual resident of Tulsa, Osage or Rogers County for at least six (6) months prior to the date of application.
  • Must have had a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed practicing attorney, or as a judge of a court of record, or a combination thereof, within the State of Oklahoma.

The Tulsa City Council, in conjunction with the Tulsa Municipal Court, is sponsoring a virtual Municipal Court Town Hall to let citizens and those who might be considering applying for the current, open, full-time Municipal Judge’s position to get to know the important role Tulsa’s Municipal Judges play in our city.
