District 3 Tulsa City Councilor Crista Patrick kicked off 2020 with the “Clear and Clear in the New Year” anti-graffiti campaign.

District 3 residents and business owners can get FREE paint, brushes and graffiti wipes thanks to a partnership with the City of Tulsa's Household Pollutant Collection Facility, Refuse Department and the Fraternal Order of Police.

“Graffiti is a problem city-wide, especially in District 3. I wanted to provide the supplies necessary to either paint over it or remove it,” Councilor Patrick said. “Graffiti not only detracts from the beauty of our city, but it’s a financial and an emotional hardship on the property owners, who are now responsible for clean-up and costs. I want to help alleviate some of that hardship with free supplies, and I want neighbors and businesses to have the ability to quickly clean-up an area, which has been shown to stop it from happening again.”

Supplies can be picked up at 5809 E. Tecumseh St. by appointment. Call 918-810-3376 to schedule a time.

Residents interested in helping clean up an area will first need written permission from the property owner.
