Bill Christiansen knows the Tulsa business
environment. Since 1972, he has served as President of Christiansen
Aviation, based at Tulsa's Riverside Airport. The company sells
fuel, jet fuel and aircraft, offers aircraft leasing and rental,
flight training, and provides aircraft parts and maintenance. A
corporate sponsor of the "Adopt a Classroom at Jenks public
schools, Christiansen Aviation currently employs 30 to 35
people.
Bill Christiansen graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a
B.B.A in Business Administration and is currently working on his
Master's degree at OSU-Tulsa. He also has a commercial pilot
license and Flight Instructor rating and is an adjunct professor at
OSU-Tulsa in the aviation department. Bill has also served as a
flight instructor at Oklahoma University.
Bill and wife Veretta have two sons, Ken, an OU graduate, and
Bryan, an OSU graduate. Veretta's 20-year career as a public school
teacher has included 15 years at Jenks and the past three years at
Darnaby Elementary in District 8. Ken and Bryan have joined their
father in the family aviation business. The Christiansens are
members of Kirk of the Hills Church.
