Councilors meet with Tulsa Global Alliance

Coffee with the Councilors is an event hosted by the Tulsa Global Alliance and it includes City Councilors and the Sister City Chairs. Also in attendance were TGA Board Members and Bob Lieser the VP, Programs. The Councilors and TGA members tasted featured foods from each Sister City. Councilor Decter Wright talked about the importance of having the TGA and sister cities and Councilor Lakin spoke about his experience visiting the sister city he represents, Amiens, France. Ruby Libertus, TGA Board Chair shared opening remarks and welcomed the group in all of the languages represented by our sister cities.

Tulsa’s sister cities are: Amiens, France; Beihai, China; Celle, Germany; Kaohsiung, Taiwan; San Luis Potosi, Mexico; Tiberias, Israel; Utsunomiya, Japan and Zelenograd, Russia.
