Tulsa MET Students Honored for Helping Neighbors

Students from Tulsa MET Middle and High Schools were honored by Councilor Crista Patrick for their volunteer service at the Dawson neighborhood clean-up event. These students helped neighbors in need who were unable to complete tree trimming, brush and trash removal, painting graffiti, and other beautification projects to improve the face of the neighborhood.

Many area residents are aging or on fixed incomes and unable to complete these projects. Councilor Patrick awarded each student volunteer a challenge coin in honor of their service!
