Last week, City Council recognized three individuals as Star Tulsans for their work and dedication to the Tulsa community:
Chuck Jefferson of District 3
Chuck was recognized for his ownership of the 100-year-old Tulsa Feed store, offering quality selection and expertise to customers and remaining faithful to the history and character of the neighborhood. Chuck Jefferson contributes a positive impact for District 3 and for the entire City, as many regard Tulsa Feed as the best feed store in the area, supplying feed for countless pet owners, Tulsa Animal Welfare, and the Tulsa Zoo.
Debi Knotts of District 3
Debi was recognized for her day-to-day interactions as President of the McClure Neighborhood Association. Debi Knotts provides a positive image, not only for District 3, but for the entire City, doing outstanding work to expand the McClure Neighborhood Association and encourage neighbors to invest time in their neighborhood and to connect with each other through celebratory events.
Kathy Davis of District 2
Kathy was recognized for her continued commitment as a volunteer at Hoover Elementary where she worked as a Special Education Teacher for 30 years. Kathy Davis contributes a positive image, not only for District 2, but for the entire City, doing outstanding work as an active member of the Williamsburg Neighborhood Association for the last 10 years, including being its past President, bringing neighbors together to make a stronger community.
